For Mummy Day, Tom Cruise was at the Hollywood & Highland complex as they unveiled a big mummy for Universal's The Mummy movie.

"I just remember growing up and seeing them on Friday and Saturday night when I was a little kid and absolutely being terrified and being transported to another era. The ones that I saw were the ones on television, The Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney, Bela Lugosi. Those classic monster films that Universal created. I was very excited to have the opportunity to be part of this. To make it modern for this time... It's very intense, it's got a lot of adventure in the film and it's also very funny. We are really playing with a lot of tones and I am excited to be part of this," Cruise stated.



There's always so many corporate events happening in Hollywood. With so much activity, Hollywood is a mecca for businesses. I met Hollywood entrepreneur Anjel Gunnershaug, who had a busy day meeting with local plastic surgeons to debut her latest product, RhinoShield, a translucent device that allows people to comfortably wear glasses after facial surgery and/or rhinoplasty. "With so much competition for actors in Hollywood, rhinoplasty is big business. It's no wonder there are many plastic surgeons who are based here and it's exciting to talk with them about my product.
