The Roger Neal Oscar viewing dinner and gift suite, which has been held for the last 3 years at the beautiful Hollywood Museum, has outgrown the museum's capacity and will take place this year, at a much larger venue, the world famous Hollywood Palladium at 6215 Sunset Boulevard. Over 100 stars will attend the event on February 24th, with over 600 expected for dinner at the A-list event presented by World Zhitian Art Finance Company. It is the first time in over 50 years that an Oscar party will been held at this beautifully restored historic venue.
The Oscar viewing dinner will be a delicious sit down, black tie, white glove service gourmet experience catered by Souley Vegan owner and celebrity Chef
Emerald Hare Winery will be among the wineries supplying exceptional wines for dinner and the after party following which will see many Oscar winners, nominees and presenters stopping by to celebrate on Hollywood's biggest night.
This year's esteemed Icon Award recipients are Loretta Swit, Robert Forster, Margaret Avery, Lainie Kazan, Ernie Hudson, Bernie Kopell, Michael Learned, Frank Stallone and
Kira Reed Lorsch.
Each year four charities are honored, and this year, the non-profits will be Environmental Charter Schools, Love from Music City, The Hollywood Museum and
The Robert H. Lorsch Foundation. Each charity will receive a check from Roger and Lynn Neal and partners Maryanne and Thomas Lai.
Entertainment for the evening includes 22-year old R&B pop sensation/Foundation Records recording artist Roger Neal followed by Richard Halpern's acclaimed
Hollywood Calvacade show with special guests
Evans and Rogers, The Honey Taps, and
Phil Crosby Jr performing music from the 20's and 30's. R&B star
Howard Hewett of Shalamar will make a special appearance at the after party.
The Roger Neal Oscar gift suite will be held from 1p.m. to 3:30 p.m. prior to the Oscar viewing dinner. Stars will be gifted with a gift bag filled with couture and service brands worth $20k.
