When you follow your dream and get to be a part of Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical ' HAIRSPRAY' , an absolutely delectable, thrilling show where the beat does not stop, and the song and dance supersede each other with such exuberance and energy, you are forever stars in theatregoers memory.

It is a story like many other stories about teenagers and their dreams, when little girls become big girls and their dreams of becoming dancers and singers, top performers on the big show become reality. Tracy Turnblad, a 16-year-old girl in 1960's Baltimore, sets out to dance her way onto ' The Corny Collins Show', a popular teen dance TV show. Obsessed with success and fame, when she gets a chance to leap into success, she dives into it at full speed. Immersed in the shoes of the main character she embraces her role with joy and delight, and fully goes for it. And that goes for every single character in this outstanding show.

Based on the NewLineCinema film written and directed by John Waters, Hairspray's incredible cast consists of Niki Metcalf, Sandie Lee, Charlie Bryant III, Nick Cortazzo, Ralph Prentico Daniel, Billy Dawson, Ryahn Evers, Addison Garner, Emery Henderson, Joi D.McCoy, Sydney Archibald, Kelly Barberito, Tommy Betz, Helene Brittany, Caroline Eiseman, Melanie Puente Ervin, Craig First, Alex Fullerton, Annie Gagon, Carly Haig, Lauren Johnson, Sabrina Joseph, Greg Kalafatas, Kyle Kavully, Matthew J.Kelly, McLaine Meachem, Faith Northcutt, Nicolas Dion Rees, Sage, Micah Sauvageau, Clint Maddox Thompson, Jade Turner, Michey White, Emmanuelle Zeesman, and featuring Andrew Levitt (aka Nina West) as Edna Turnblad. Huge applause to every single one of you. What a cast! Spectacular singers and dancers!

Every scene is breathtaking on this show, and everyone deserves the credit: the book  by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan; Music and Arrangements by Marc Shaiman, and Lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman. The colorful Scenic Design is masterfully executed by David Rockwell as well as Costume Design by William Ivey Long. Wigs, and Hair Design by Paul Huntley & Bernie Ardia, and Video Design by Patrick W. Lord. Bravo!

Hairspray the Musical unleashes the spirit of coming into age, believing in yourself, and achieving the desire manifested. Under the direction of Matt Lenz and Choreography by Robbie Roby, this musical comedy is an extraordinary success at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood CA. One can associate the show as being a show on steroids, filled with success and joy. O riginated as a film by John Waters back in 1988, starring Sonny Bono, Ricki Lake, Jerry Stiller, Ruth Brown, and more. It generated a Broadway musical of the same name in 2002 and went on to win eight Tony Awards including Best Musical in 2003. And it is rocking - fully back on tour, finding its home in Hollywood CA at the moment, on the Dolby Stage until May 21.
