Studio has been in continuous use since 1912: Essanay Company, the Kalem Company, Monogram Pictures, Allied Artists and now KCET Public Television. A historic landmark, the sound stages and brick buildings, built in 1920, remain. Allied Artists Studios, the "Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman" and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" were made here in 1952.
