After her guardian angel abandons her to join a celestial war\, Bronx resident Marisol Pérez is left to navigate a terrifying world that seems to be coming apart around her\, forcing her to confront questions of survival\, faith\, humanity\, and hope. \nDirected by Amanda Weier and starring Jade Santana as Marisol\, the production transforms Rivera’s apocalyptic vision into an intimate theatrical journey that feels both surreal and strikingly contemporary. Even as the world of the play descends into chaos\, its humor and compassion remain central\, creating a provocative story about holding onto humanity when everything familiar begins to disappear. The production runs through October 24\, 2026.

DESCRIPTION:CLUB27 is Jaxx Theatre’s first original jukebox musical\, bringing together favorite rock songs of yesteryear with an original story shaped by loss\, addiction\, mental health\, fame\, and survival. Built as a dance-infused rock showcase\, the production uses familiar music to explore the emotional cost of living intensely while still finding room for connection\, healing\, and plenty of theatrical flair. \nDirected and choreographed by Jeremy Lucas\, the world-premiere production features a large ensemble and a live onstage band led by Dr. James Lent\, with guitar\, bass\, and drums driving the show’s concert-like energy. CLUB27 runs through October 30\, 2026\, with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00PM\, Sundays at 7:00PM\, plus additional 8:00PM shows on October 28 and 29.
