DESCRIPTION:The MAK Center for Art and Architecture and AIA Los Angeles present Creatives in Conversation – Between Space and Story: Art\, Architecture\, and the Making of Experience\, an evening exploring how art and architecture shape the way people perceive\, inhabit\, and remember the built environment. Set at the historic Schindler House\, the program brings together creative voices working across disciplines to consider how space becomes more than structure — becoming story\, memory\, atmosphere\, and experience. \nThe conversation asks what transforms space into something meaningful\, looking at the connections between modernist architecture\, public art\, infrastructure\, materials\, systems\, and contemporary visual practice. Through this dialogue\, the program invites audiences to think about how artists and architects use form as a tool for storytelling\, bridging the personal and the collective\, the intimate and the civic. \nThe exhibition opens on July 23\, 2026\, and is on view through August 1\, 2026.
