Based on Clarice Lispector’s celebrated novel, The Hour of the Star is a moving one-woman theatrical adaptation that follows Macabéa, a quiet young Brazilian immigrant navigating loneliness, hope, and survival in an indifferent world. Performed by Brazilian artist Bruna Fachetti and directed by Alex Tietre, the production brings six distinct characters to life through a single performer.
