Lorna Shore is an American deathcore band from New Jersey, primarily known for popularizing the symphonic deathcore genre. Formed in 2009, their sound is characterized by a maximalist blend of brutal deathcore breakdowns, black metal influences, and sweeping orchestral arrangements. Their global recognition exploded with the 2021 single “To the Hellfire” and the arrival of current vocalist Will Ramos, whose exceptionally wide range of gutturals and high-pitched shrieks is widely lauded as one of the most technical in extreme metal.
