Melina Ruais, who established herself in the music world after gaining significant visibility during her time on La Voix (The Voice Quebec) in 2014, where she made it to the quarter-finals. After using that momentum to release her first EP in 2017, she committed fully to her musical vision, culminating in her first full-length album, Revival, which showcases a powerful, contemporary pop sound with strong influences of gospel and soul. Although she started her career in Montreal with a foundation in classical piano and an a cappella background, she moved to Los Angeles in 2013 to study audio engineering, eventually becoming a highly experienced vocal instructor and coach while maintaining her career as a singer-songwriter and producer, making her a well-connected figure in the local music industry that frequents the Hotel Cafe.
