BERTA FISCHER Acrylic Glass Sculptures

Experience a world where industrial materials become something entirely ethereal. James Fuentes is proud to present a new exhibition by Berlin-based artist Berta Fischer, whose work transforms rigid synthetic materials into fluid, glowing forms that seem to float in mid-air.
The vibe is otherworldly and immersive. Using acrylic glass and iridescent foils, Fischer creates vibrant, “origami-like” sculptures that capture the energy of liquid movement. As you move through the gallery, these translucent pieces shift in color and intensity, casting soft halos of light that activate the entire room.
From monumental suspended works like Quaoloris to dense, jewel-like wall compositions, Fischer’s art explores the beautiful intersection of the artificial and the organic. It is a sophisticated yet welcoming invitation to see light as a material in its own right. We look forward to sharing this masterclass in contemporary abstraction with you.
