AdlerFest 2026: An Evening of One Acts

AdlerFest 2026 brings together an eclectic evening of short-form theatre, pairing classic comedy with contemporary and testimony-based work. The program includes Daniel Adams’ Abstraction, Anton Chekhov’s lively one-acts The Proposal and The Anniversary, and Queens Without a Crown, a piece adapted from real testimony.

Presented over three performances at the Stella Adler Academy, the festival gives audiences the chance to experience contrasting theatrical voices within a single program—from Chekhov’s comic social collisions to newer material exploring contemporary experience. AdlerFest runs through September 20, 2026.
