Experience a night of legendary psychedelic rock and jam-band vibes at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go on Friday, January 9, 2026. This curated lineup brings together some of the most authentic tribute acts in Southern California, transporting the audience back to the golden era of the Sunset Strip. The show kicks off at 6:00 PM.

The Lineup

  • THE ULTIMATE DOORS: Widely considered the premier tribute to Jim Morrison and The Doors, this band goes to extreme lengths for authenticity. They utilize period-correct 1960s gear—including the Gibson G-101 organ and Fender Rhodes piano bass—to recreate the specific sonic landscape of the original quartet. Lead singer Nash Stover (or frequently Darrian Kenney) delivers a hauntingly precise portrayal of the “Lizard King,” from the baritone vocals to the unpredictable stage movements.

  • Deadicated Project: A powerhouse Grateful Dead tribute born out of LA’s Mikron Studios. This ensemble features top-tier session musicians, including Raanen Bozio (son of legendary drummer Terry Bozio). They are known for their improvisational spirit, blending Dead classics with elements of blues and country.

  • Turquoise Steel: A rising rock outfit that specializes in the diverse sounds of the 70s, providing a heavy, melodic bridge between the night’s major tribute acts.

  • Black Stone LBC: Hailing from Long Beach, this group rounds out the bill with their signature “LBC” energy, blending classic rock influences with a modern, gritty edge.
