The Slovak singer-songwriter and dancer ADÉLA (Adéla Jergová) began her career as a professionally trained classical ballerina before pivoting to pop music. She gained public visibility as a contestant on the 2023 reality competition show Dream Academy, which sought to form the global girl group Katseye. Following her elimination, she launched a solo career in 2024, developing an intense, hyperpop-influenced sound, and subsequently signed with Capitol Records and Polydor Records in 2025. Her solo artistry is defined by her provocative, unfiltered lyrics, and her artistic vision came to a head with the release of her debut EP, The Provocateur, in August 2025.
