Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band

KCRW presents Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band at Blue Note Los Angeles for two nights of expansive, emotionally resonant jazz. Blade’s musical journey began in church and grew through deep study in New Orleans, where he formed the roots of The Fellowship with Jon Cowherd. The band’s sound draws from jazz tradition, spiritual feeling, improvisational sensitivity, and ensemble trust, creating a performance that is both technically masterful and deeply human.
