Visionary musician and former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne brings Who is the Sky? to the Hollywood Bowl with a theatrical production built around music, movement, and his enduring fascination with human connection. Backed by a 13-member ensemble, Byrne revisits highlights from his work with Talking Heads and Brian Eno while weaving in songs from his expansive solo career.
The evening also features the USC Trojan Marching Band and Stroll Groove by Joe Brown, adding even more movement and spectacle to Byrne’s characteristically inventive stagecraft. From beloved favorites such as “Once in a Lifetime” and “Burning Down the House” to material from his latest creative chapter, the performances promise an imaginative blend of concert, choreography, and visual art.
