Ela Taubert (born Manuela Pardo Taubert in 2000) is a Colombian singer-songwriter who has rapidly risen to prominence as a new sensation in the Latin Pop and Indie Pop genres. Known for her soulful vocals, appealing melodies, and emotionally honest songwriting, Taubert has built a signature style that balances tenderness with confidence, blending contemporary pop with an original indie edge. Her music, which she says is inspired by artists like Adele, Taylor Swift, and Jesse & Joy, often revolves around introspective themes of self-discovery, resilience, and emotional honesty, particularly as a young woman navigating a male-dominated industry. Taubert achieved significant early success after gaining a massive following on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to her signing with Universal Music Latino and winning the prestigious Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2024.
