Exhibit Opening: Michelle Bickford, Bonni Reid, Wick Alexander, and Jane Tardo

La Luz de Jesus Gallery invites visitors to a special First Friday opening reception celebrating four new exhibitions from Michelle Bickford, Bonni Reid, Wick Alexander, and Jane Tardo. Known for its influence in pop surrealism, lowbrow art, and contemporary figurative work, the gallery continues to showcase artists whose work blends imagination, storytelling, humor, and craft.

Michelle Bickford’s Unknown Horizons offers dreamlike imagery and expansive narratives, while Bonni Reid’s Unexpected Detour brings a sense of curiosity and surprise. Wick Alexander’s Bean Hecho! adds playful visual storytelling, and Jane Tardo’s Catboyfriend’s Calendar Quilt Show presents handcrafted textile works full of humor and personality.

Together, these exhibitions create a lively and eclectic gallery experience that celebrates the creative spirit of La Luz de Jesus.
