Theatre Unleashed presents the world premiere of IMAGO, a funny, uncompromising, and unexpectedly tender new play about art, ambition, family, and what it costs to finally allow yourself to change. At its center is Katherine Harmston, a fiercely independent painter whose refusal to compromise has shaped both her art and her life. When news of her dying mother draws her back toward the family she escaped—and into the orbit of a commercially successful ex-lover—her carefully defended world begins to crack open.

As Katherine wrestles with unsettling truths about her past and an uncertain future, her boldest new painting may either redefine her career or destroy the identity she has built around it. Written by Wendy Gough Soroka and directed by Richard Piatt, the production features Soda Persi, Aarti Mann, Rob Shiells, Tara Alexandra Brown, Arden Lewis, Chase Green, and Andrew Thacher.
