John Beasley’s UNLIMITED MILES: MILES DAVIS AT 100 celebrates the centennial of one of jazz’s most influential and endlessly inventive artists. Produced in partnership with Leimert Park Jazz Festival as part of The Ford’s Sunday Jazz series, the concert honors Miles Davis’ creative evolution, from cool jazz and modal experimentation to electric innovation and beyond. Led by John Beasley, the evening promises a sophisticated and exploratory tribute that captures not only Davis’ sound, but also his restless artistic spirit and lasting impact on modern music.
