RAY and PAUL

The musical duo Ray and Paul consists of brothers Ray Holmberg (lead vocals, guitar) and Paul Holmberg (drums, backing vocals) from Marin County, California, who started their band when they were just teenagers and are known for their blend of Surf/Garage Rock with Indie/Alternative Pop, often featuring catchy vocal melodies over heavier guitars. They broke onto the scene in 2019 with their debut single “Mystery,” which landed on several Spotify Editorial Playlists, and they further honed their distinct, high-energy live sound while attending college in Santa Barbara, integrating into the local surf and DIY community. They have since released a self-titled debut album and a recent Fading EP, and their growing success is evidenced by a deal with a Sony Music sub-label (AWAL) and active West Coast touring, where their full live lineup often includes collaborators Aidan Reese on guitar and Mac Bihn on bass.
