Reggae Night XXIV

June 21 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Reggae Night XXIV brings the spirit of Jamaica to the Hollywood Bowl with a powerful lineup led by Ziggy Marley and Burning Spear, joined by Zuri Marley for a DJ set and hosted in association with KCRW. The evening gathers true reggae royalty in a setting that is perfect for music built on rhythm, movement, and shared feeling. With two legendary names at the center of the bill, the event promises a warm, danceable, and deeply meaningful night rooted in love, unity, and social consciousness.

Ziggy Marley, the eldest son of Bob and Rita Marley, has built a singular career that brings reggae together with funk, blues, rock, and humanitarian purpose. After his work with the Melody Makers, he continued as a solo artist, activist, producer, and musician, earning nine Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, and the George and Ira Gershwin Award for Lifetime Musical Achievement. Burning Spear brings more than six decades of impact to the stage, with music shaped by self-reliance, self-determination, and a powerful message for the African diaspora. With Zuri Marley opening the night, the concert offers both legacy and renewal, making this a rich and vibrant celebration of reggae across generations.
