Ziggy Marley, the eldest son of Bob and Rita Marley, has built a singular career that brings reggae together with funk, blues, rock, and humanitarian purpose. After his work with the Melody Makers, he continued as a solo artist, activist, producer, and musician, earning nine Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, and the George and Ira Gershwin Award for Lifetime Musical Achievement. Burning Spear brings more than six decades of impact to the stage, with music shaped by self-reliance, self-determination, and a powerful message for the African diaspora.
