To commemorate the band’s 60th anniversary, Doors guitarist Robby Krieger headlined “A 60th Anniversary Doors Celebration,” which served as the grand finale to a series of special shows throughout the year. The one-night-only event, held at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, featured Krieger and his band—including his son Waylon on vocals—performing a special homage to the band’s 1970 album, Morrison Hotel, alongside other Doors classics. The celebration boasted an all-star lineup of guest performers from across the rock spectrum, with artists like Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction), Deryck Whibley (Sum 41), Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots), and others joining Krieger on stage to honor the band’s enduring legacy. The evening also began with an opening set from Tripform, an electronic-music act featuring Pablo Manzarek, the son of the late Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek, making the event a multi-generational tribute to one of rock’s most influential groups.
