Smooth Summer Jazz

The Hollywood Bowl’s annual Smooth Summer Jazz celebration returns with a soulful lineup led by The Commodores, Boney James, and Sheila E. The Commodores bring decades of Motown, funk, and R&B favorites, while saxophonist Boney James adds his polished fusion of contemporary jazz, soul, funk, and pop.

Opening the evening is legendary multi-instrumentalist and percussionist Sheila E., whose dynamic stage presence brings an irresistible spark to the program.
