Sophia Zamani

Sophia Zamani is an immensely talented 19-year-old American singer-songwriter, known for developing a unique and captivating sound that artfully straddles the lines between modern country, alternative, and indie-folk sensibilities. Originally from California, Zamani has been performing since the age of five and built an early foundation in music by teaching herself guitar alongside piano lessons, later catching the attention of Bruce Springsteen’s in-house producer, Ron Aniello, who became her mentor and helped guide her first steps into the music industry. Her career has quickly gained momentum with the release of her debut album Shelter from the Rain (2024) and her recent EP, Start Again (2025), which feature over a hundred of her original songs, and she has collaborated with notable producers and engineers like David Baron (The Lumineers) and GRAMMY-award winner Emily Lazar (Maggie Rogers), all while she continues to pursue her bachelor’s degree at Pepperdine University.
