The Return of The Book of Mormon at Hollywood Pantages

HOLLYWOOD, CA – Following the closing of The Notebook, the nine-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical The Book of Mormon will return to the Hollywood Pantages Theatre for a strictly limited two-week engagement from February 3 through February 15, 2026.

  • The Characters: * Elder Price: An overachieving, handsome, and somewhat arrogant missionary who expects to be sent to Orlando.

    • Elder Cunningham: A socially awkward, chronic liar who is paired with Price.

  • The Setting: A remote, impoverished village in Uganda.

  • The Plot: Sent to convert the local population, the duo finds that the villagers are more concerned with famine, AIDS, and a local warlord than with their scripture. Elder Price suffers a crisis of faith when the mission doesn’t go “according to plan,” while Elder Cunningham begins finding success by weaving elements of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings into his teachings. The play is a satire of organized religion that ultimately lands on a message about the power of community and storytelling.
