Jason Robert Brown’s emotionally charged and innovative musical, “THE LAST FIVE YEARS,” returns to the Los Angeles stage for a limited engagement at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre. This production will run from Friday, February 6, through Sunday, February 22, 2026.

A modern classic of the musical theatre genre, the show tells the bittersweet story of a five-year relationship between Cathy, a struggling actress, and Jamie, a rising novelist. The production is famous for its unique structure: Cathy tells her story in reverse chronological order, while Jamie tells his from the beginning of the relationship forward, with their timelines meeting only once at their wedding.
