The Miracle Worker

Arthur Penn’s celebrated The Miracle Worker tells the extraordinary story of Helen Keller and teacher Annie Sullivan, whose fierce determination and unconventional methods helped the young Keller break through the isolation created by blindness and deafness. Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke deliver the performances that earned both actresses Academy Awards, transforming the story into an intense and deeply moving confrontation between frustration, perseverance, and human connection.
