Trevor Menear

Trevor Menear is a highly versatile and respected American guitarist, singer-songwriter, and session musician, originally from Chicago and now based in Los Angeles, whose music spans rock, jazz, and blues. His guitar playing is often lauded for its powerful, classic-roots inspiration, drawing comparisons to legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Duane Allman, while his own songwriting merges these influences into a classic roots-inspired sound, showcased on his debut solo work in 2007 and his 2010 album, Some Kind of Sunshine. Beyond his solo career, Menear is best known for his extensive work as a touring and session guitarist for high-profile artists, including serving as a full-time touring member of the acclaimed folk-rock band Dawes since 2016, and collaborating with a wide range of musicians like LP, Florence and the Machine, and Shelby Lynne.
