Wally Baram

February 19 @ 7:30 pm - 11:30 pm

Wally Baram is a Mexican-Syrian stand-up comedian, writer, and actress whose sharp, multicultural perspective has made her one of the most compelling voices of the Gen-Z comedy wave. A dropout from an Ivy League economics program turned “New Face” at Just For Laughs, Baram is set to headline the Hollywood Improv Main Room on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 7:30 PM. This performance follows her massive breakout year in 2025, where she starred as Carmen in the Amazon Prime Video hit series Overcompensating—a role she also wrote and produced alongside creator Benito Skinner. Her comedic style, which debuted on late-night TV via The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, artfully dissects the “strange banalities” of young adulthood and her unique heritage. Beyond her acting, Baram is a prolific writer with credits on some of the most acclaimed comedies of the decade, including FX’s What We Do in the Shadows and English Teacher, as well as Apple TV+’s Shrinking.
