The Hollywood Bowl Museum is the official on‑site museum dedicated to the history, architecture, performances, and cultural legacy of the Hollywood Bowl. It sits at the main entrance to the Bowl and is free to visit year‑round.It is the first building visitors see when entering from Highland Avenue.

🎼 What the Hollywood Bowl Museum Is

A historical museum celebrating one of Los Angeles’ most iconic performance venues. It documents more than a century of music, civic history, and architectural evolution at the Bowl, including rare artifacts, photographs, oral histories, and rotating exhibitions. The museum originally opened in 1984 and was rebuilt in 1996 as the Edmund D. Edelman Hollywood Bowl Museum.

• Rotating exhibitions covering major eras and events in the Bowl’s 100+ year history.
• Current long‑term exhibition: Building the Bowl: From Dream to Destination (on view through December 2027), focusing on six key founders who shaped the Bowl’s creation.
• Bowl Walk: A self‑guided outdoor tour with 10 photographic displays across the grounds, highlighting cultural history, architecture, and the Bowl’s natural environment.
• First 100 Years Podcast & Walking Tour: A 10‑episode historical audio series tied to locations across the Bowl’s 88‑acre campus.

Admission: Free, all year.

Summer Hours (June–September):

• Tue–Fri: 10 AM → showtime
• Sat–Mon: Opens 4 hours before showtime

Off‑Season Hours (Mid‑September–June):

• Tue–Fri: 10 AM – 5 PM
• Sat–Mon: Closed

Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
