New girl Sarah Bailey transfers to a Los Angeles Catholic high school and quickly completes a coven with three other outcast students—Nancy, Bonnie, and Rochelle—who practice witchcraft. Their combined power allows them to cast potent spells, granting them their deepest wishes, such as beauty, revenge on a bully, and money. However, the unchecked power soon corrupts the coven, with Nancy descending into extreme psychosis and cruelty, forcing Sarah, who has a more natural connection to the magic, to fight her former friends to bind their misused powers and survive.
