Aaron Akins is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and actor from Chicago, highly respected for his charismatic stage presence and unique musical style, which blends Jazz, Urban, Nu-Jazz, and R&B. He was selected by Broadwayworld.Com as the Best Cabaret/Concert Artist (Male) in Los Angeles and is known for his popular “Into the Cole” show, a tribute to Nat King Cole that later became his first album. Akins has collaborated with major figures throughout his career, including Darryl Jones (who later played for the Rolling Stones) and the legendary soul group The Whispers on his radio hit “When Do We Love.” His versatility extends to acting, with roles in films like Split Decisions with Gene Hackman and playing Herbie Hancock in the Netflix series I Think You Should Leave. He has performed globally at major events like the North Sea Jazz Festival and even sang for the Pope at the Vatican, showcasing his broad appeal and exceptional talent.
