Two-time Grammy nominee Freda Payne returns to Catalina Jazz Club with Legendary Ladies of Jazz, a theatrical tribute to some of the most influential women in jazz history. Payne celebrates the music of Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson, Dinah Washington, Peggy Lee, Dakota Staton, Gloria Lynne, Lena Horne, Eartha Kitt, and Ella Fitzgerald, blending timeless songs with personal stories and reflections from her own remarkable career.

The evening also features Thomasina Gross in a special salute to Eartha Kitt, with musical direction by Josh Nelson. More than a traditional concert, the show combines jazz, storytelling, and theatrical flair, giving Payne the opportunity to honor the artists who shaped the genre while showcasing the expressive voice and stage presence that have defined her own six-decade career.
