LA ART SHOW MIRACLE

LA ART SHOW – Cheryl Christiansen

Reviewed by Amalisha HuEck

With the Grateful heart, on this New Years Eve, I’d like to express my gratitude to Discover Hollywood Magazine and its founders Nyla and Oscar Arslanian for helping many theatre productions getting exposure and supporting their artistic expressions. Through their shining, hard work, and their willingness to spread a little love around, for a few past years I was fortunate enough to see many exciting theatre productions. At the beginning of the year 2025, I was given two tickets to exciting LA Art Show, for which they are one of the sponsors. So, I invited my dear friend – an artist, to visit the show with me.

While admiring the work of many artists, we were also looking for someone who does PR for an art gallery, who might possibly express an interest in her work and hopefully get exposure for her life-long artistic work. The show was coming to an end that day, but we did not want to leave. As we stood there, close to the exit doors, looking at the exhibit, a young, beautiful girl, Zara Rancourt, gallery Manager at the Jarrow & Goodman Gallery, came from the back and happened to ask if we were artists. My friend quickly jumped on it and soon we were invited to an exhibit at the gallery. To make a long story short, it wasn’t long before my artist friend, Cheryl Christiansen, was given the opportunity to show her colorful, enchanting paintings at this gallery–serene landscapes, oversized flowers and her impressionist, yet contemporary series of peaceful lily ponds and graceful waterlilies.

And now, exactly a year later, she has been invited by gallery owners Jarrow Rogovin & Michael Goodman to be included in this year’s LA Art Show! The paintings shown at the exhibit all represent the human energy field.  Cheryl’s intent is that they bring peace, light, a journey to a higher consciousness and divine love for everyone.

Cheryl Christensen (an actress, writer, singer-songwriter) has appeared on many TV shows, feature films and stage. Her songs have been recorded by major recording artists. She began painting in 1970, when she met renowned artist and film director, Jean Negulesco. He became her mentor and, under his tutelage, she began exploring her extensive creativity. Cheryl works in all media but prefers oil. Cheryl Christiansen’s art and bio can be found at www.Artsy.com

Christiansen’s work can be found at the LA Art Show at MRG Fine Art, booth #702.
