L.A. Zoo Lights Illuminate the Magic of the Holiday Season

L.A. Dodger Justin Turner and actor Chris Sullivan (This is Us, Camping) joined Emcee Julie Chang (Good Day L.A.) and Zoo Ambassador Carolyn Hennesy (True Blood, General Hospital) to light the Zoo’s Holiday Tree, officially opening L.A. Zoo Lights for a fifth season.

The L.A. Zoo Lights experience includes a disco ball forest, a kaleidoscopic savana, a newly reimagined light show, and the spectacular Twinkle Tunnel.

This year’s L.A. Zoo Lights has been nominated for USA Today’s “10 Best Zoo Lights.”  The light spectacular is on display from 6 to 10pm nightly through Jan 6, with Santa visits available Nov 16-18, Nov 23-25, and Nov 30-Dec 23.  Admission varies from $14.95 to $21.95 for adults (13+) and $11.95 to $16.95 for children 2-12.  Children under 2 are free. Admission for GLAZA members is $11 and there is a discount admission of $12 for preview week, which runs until Nov 21.
